Transcendent is about modern love, but not like dating apps or an AI romance. It’s foreshadowing the merging of humans and machines and what love could look like in the future. It’s the idea of love existing beyond our bodies, not just as energy, but as a tangible love we can upload and experience in some kind of post physical way. I think romanticizing technology is my way of not panicking about the future. It’s like, futurist, escapism core.
