Plastic is without a doubt one of the most special songs I've made. Evan and I wrote this in my Brooklyn apt 3 days before I moved out and came to LA. The overall tone and sentiment of the song just feels so honest and pure. It almost sounds like the song has been around for a while and I've already made memories to it when I was in high school. That's when I knew it was special. I sent it to Reo to see what he thought, and before he even texted me back I just got an email with a fully recorded vocal over it. I think Evan & Reo compliment each other so perfectly and I couldn't be happier to have them both on this.
