This was one of the first songs me and my good friend Joshua Apple made together. I had asked him to send me over some beats and he threw this one in the pack, not expecting me to use it for anything. Lo and behold, this song became my first single. Originally, it was called Count Me Out, but we had to change the name so we didn’t confuse anyone because of Kendrick Lamar’s release (or get into any legal disputes with the man himself).
