This song is about a time when I kept myself stuck in a situation because I was afraid of change and kept ignoring my intuition. The lyrics explore the anxiety that results from that hyper-vigilant state of denial, as you try to convince not just yourself but others that something is right while having to watch everything you say and do to keep up that appearance. Writing ‘TADB’ was my first step towards realising that it was time to let go.
