This song is my synthesis of the Four Agreements of ancient Toltec culture. I made this song on August 2020. *** "Four Directions" was the topic where this song was focused when I was writing it, that initially took me to the process of the 4 agreements: Toltec wisdom that includes four universal concepts applicable to reality to generate invisible constructions that are sustained in time. To walk where the compass in our hearts indicates, regardless of the cardinal points and knowing that there will be moments of opening the way, will be a challenge that will improve the free exercise of the will and, therefore, the renewal in our minds, which we need to be present to resolve conflicts and dispel shadows. The song is a synthesis between these two concepts, the Toltec agreements and the compass of our hearts indicating where to go. These agreements are: Be impeccable with your words. Don't take anything personal. Don't make assumptions. Always do your best. Taking things personally prevents us from growing beyond the edges of our wounds, and we end up with a bloody field, sometimes not even our own. If what comes out of your mouth sounds like a song, let the rhythm of your steps follow the pattern of the verb and dance in harmony with what dwells in the word, which is what initiates everything. All this time in my Web3 journey, I discovered that the most valuable thing about this technology is that it allows us to interact directly between artists and producers in a safe and direct way through smart contracts, which changes the rules of the game and allows us to work within the framework of collaboration, leaving the competition only to have it with ourselves.
