From 2007 to 2021 I was a pianist at the famously-haunted Fort Garry Hotel in Winnipeg Canada, where I exclusively (and discreetly) played modern pop/hip-hop/rock covers. Over time these arrangements evolved into improvised medleys that would flow together thematically... from Metallica to Lana Del Rey. I've since moved to LA and am working as a music producer, and this is my hommage to those years cutting my teeth at the Fort Garry Hotel - recontextualized in the lofi hiphop genre. Part 1 of x!
