This 10 year-old track is the first of a 10-song album I put out in my early 20's. Listening back is both nostalgic and somewhat embarassing, but it's funny how it pictures a state of mind I'm rarely in these days. I remember writing this one of the first times I visited New York and was euphoric about goint out and partying there... I eventually moved there for 5 years and euphoria is not the feeling I associate with it anymore. "The Night is Young" is not a thought I have very often in my 30's, either.
