forever is the oldest and last song on my debut album, Dreaming of Flying. I made it in 2018 before I even had the name Clear eyes for my solo project. It was initially more than double the BPM...I worked on it for a while and it didn't feel right. Then I slowed it all the way down until something clicked and this beautiful tapestry unfolded. It sounded like nothing else I'd ever made, and I loved the way it made me feel. Centered, thoughtful, clear-headed. Slowing down the music made the world slow down for me. And I realized I'd stumbled into the most important feeling I wanted my solo project to evoke. When you collect this sound, you join the world of Clear eyes and Dreaming of Flying. A world of music that makes you feel a particular way. A world I made for you.
