XYSM: I made the beat for this track while on a trip across Canada. All I had at the time was a cheap 2011 laptop I bought off of a friend for a couple hundred bucks. This computer didn't have enough room to download half of the software I use to make music and so I was incredibly limited in what I was able to do. Sometimes being limited is a good thing though. It forces you to be creative, and if you asked me to recreate that beat, there would be no chance that I could do it, A lot of the sounds that seem like synthesizers are just vocals, chopped and transposed to a point where it is unrecognizable. That's why I love this track so much, it has all these unique sounds that came from a little laptop with barely anything on it. A couple months later, this track then became 'Body Talkin' after a writing session with Lindal and our friend Rocky Raccoon. We kept the song's vintage feel by pitching down Lindal's vocals, which also gave it a smooth RnB feel.
