I had the instrumental to Ready or Not for years. I've had a few different versions of the vocal track for it at times. During a time when I left my job, moved back home and decided to put more effort into music, I finished the song. There's a few different ways I've interpreted the song to various parts of my life, all mostly pertaining to an inevitable change. Like when you know something is going to happen. It could be soon or it could take years. Maybe its something good, or bad. You might want change but know it'll be difficult for those around you or vice versa. Regardless of if you're ready or not, it will eventually happen.
