SHIVER was tracked in Chicago in 1997 & was the first of 3 songs on a demo sent to LA Feat. Vessy Mink, who wrote the lyrics and the melody a year before the track was created. Vessy answered an ad in the Chicago Reader while working in a highrise downtown Chicago as a receptionist. Her boss let her bring her guitar to work. One day she saw an ad looking for a "fire starter" for an electronica project called SIREN. Vessy answered the ad and auditioned to be the singer.
