Velvet Meadow brings a new FUNKY flare to his sound with new single "Its My Fault". During the writing phase of this track, Heironimus wanted to experiment with writing something with some groove and soul into it. The track was written in his rented out room in St Augustine Florida shortly after gaining inspiration from some of vintage R&B soul records he picked up from a nearby flea market. Upon release, it has become a staple in his discography gaining over 4k streams its first week, with a continuous climb. "I wanted to write something that is a little out of my comfort zone. I wanted something more upbeat, and more upfront strong vocals with a little cheekiness to it. Its got to be one of my favorite pop tunes I have written. I just kind of jumped into the deep with it writing, and production wise. My favorite aspect of it is the counter melody in the chorus thing spouting its my fault. I also love the ending with the synthesizers getting super trippy. I am a huge synth head, always will be.
