First released in 2015 "god, i wish you could've been there" is the third track of treasuretroves' debut "bogus.toads". This is an emo ballad about a long-distance relationship. Each track uses song titles of lines from the book, The Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salinger. We went on to use this song later with a band I played in "shysters", playing it live for a few years and recording another version for our debut s/t album. This is the original version though with just me. I made this while I was away from the band in Hungary and wanted to still keep making music on my own, this was the start of my solo project "treasuretroves".
