The world needs a wake-up call. When I wrote and produced this song I imagined all those people who never had the chance to pursue their dreams. People who lived hypnotized, attached to social beliefs, and to behaviors that removed their ability to pursue the best version of themselves. Society and the system have us trapped. Going around in circles. But if you zoom out, 10,000 feet, I believe that God and the Universe have given us all the tools, wisdom, and light to break free. Wake up is that burst of energy for you to question things around you. To make you think that everything you see is a lie and that for us to overcome evil, we need to unite, empower each other, share knowledge, and not comply with everything that the system tells us to do. We need to take a step forward and take risks to create a forever change. That we shouldn't fear to be brave, to be bold, and to be audacious in fighting for our purpose through honesty, dignity, and hard work. One day we will hear Wake Up in the streets, and may that be the time that God sheds light behind our shoulders and helps us triumph over darkness. United we rise. United we wake up.
