Lincoln and I teamed up again for this one - always nice working together. our first song we did, Takes My Body Higher, went viral on Spotify and charted on Billboard dance, and we thought it’d be cool to revisit the vibes of that record while also putting a fresh spin on it. as far as the lyrical inspiration, I think it just organically came out as we wrote over the track during a session in LA. it was really collaborative - he would write a line, and I would do the next, and we just bounced ideas back and forth. we wanted something summery, and I think the imagery and emotion really come out strong. it was a fun process and so stoked to share this as my first NFT!
