This is hands down; One of the most honest, personal songs Ive ever written. Inspired by a true story, KINDA FEEL BAD FOR HIM delves into the aftermath of a recent breakup I experienced, where I reflect on drama from a past relationship. Lyric comes from a place of feeling relieved to be out of it now but also feeling a bit sorry for the new guy. There's a mix of "phew, glad that's not me anymore" and "poor guy doesn't know what he's gotten himself into" vibes. It's like they're saying, "Been there, done that, got the scars, but hey, I'm better off now." Overall, it's a groovy, chill tune about moving on and finding closure after some messy love stuff we all gotta go thru before finding "the one" - Sammy
