“On The Floor” is about how I felt at home and safe on the dance floor during a tough period of my life. Regular work and life can be too much or too foreign but on the dancefloor, you have this safety in anonymity as well as a strong speechless connection to those around you. This comes from my experiences in the Brooklyn underground electronic music scene. The track itself is meant to provide that sonic space to feel comfortable in a slow but euphoric dance. I personally crave these spaces so I wanted to try to share one of my own.
