Born in Brooklyn, New York, I am a first-generation Afro-Latina who grew up as the preacher's daughter. Despite feeling like the outcasted black sheep, I've persevered through life's challenges, including surviving sexual assault and enduring a traumatic kidnapping experience that forced me to leave my job. It was during these difficult times that I made a courageous decision to chase after every dream I'd ever had. Encouraged by my friends, I finally stepped into the studio after years of singing privately, known only to those closest to me. This pivotal moment opened doors that have led me to where I am today. Through my music, I express myself, sharing the essence of my life and the experiences that have shaped me into who I am—a person who is continually growing and evolving. I am Panarican. Ever since childhood, I've been filling my notepad with songs and feeling a constant rhythm coursing through my veins – or at least, that's what I'd call it. Some might label it as ADHD, but hey, it's all part of the creative journey, right? My introduction to the music industry came with my debut release, "Nasty," and it opened my eyes to the unique challenges faced by female artists. That experience fueled my determination to take charge of my own musical journey. I embarked on a quest to record my music and connect with an engineer who could truly understand and embrace my creative vision. And that's when I discovered CQ. Weeks of relentless effort went into crafting the song that would become "Background." Throughout this journey, I wrestled with imposter syndrome, constantly questioning my abilities. But despite the doubts, I mustered the courage to send it off into the world. "Background" emerged as a testament to that perseverance.
