This is the first song off of my EP "The Sky is A Cave And the Moon is A Saint". That year was a rollercoaster for me (went through a divorce) and I spent quite a bit of time by myself working on these tracks. I had just moved to LA and was feeling very alone in a huge city. This first song kind of sets the scene for the whole record. My voice is pretty obscured on this song, quite intentionally, I wasn’t feeling comfortable really putting myself out there in life or musically. I ended up loving the sound so it stayed.
