I wrote this song while crying and feeling some of the deepest emotions I've ever felt. The whole song came out in under 2 hours, with just me and the piano. Long story short, it is about loving someone else so much that you forget to love yourself. I am someone who loves deeply, who feels deeply. When I fall in love, I give everything I have to the other person, and I forget to nurture myself, to love myself fully. I give so much that I quite literally have nothing left to give to myself. If anyone hears this song and can relate, I hope you can be reminded to love yourself fully. By doing that, you will be more capable of loving those around you properly.
