Music is my favorite place to experiment. I grew up listening to every genre of music imaginable and enjoy fluttering between them in any way that I can. After writing and recording a conceptual Pop/Contemporary album, I felt like it was the perfect time to experiment and get outside of my comfort zone. The moment I heard the beat on this song I knew exactly what the vibe was. It only took a couple of seconds before the melody was clear to me. I felt the energy of the music running through me and that was the only sentiment that felt right. As I flowed and hummed through the melody, I wanted the song to reflect how you feel when you first meet a person and that spark is too strong to ignore. It causes you to throw all caution to the wind and give in to the desire and the energy you feel in the moment.
