This song is about finding myself at a late age. Growing up in an environment where self-love was looked down upon in order to please the group, it took years to undo that damage and begin to realize its ok to love yourself and take care of yourself. In the creation of the song, I was trying to embody a bit of what it would feel like to travel thru time. So sometimes its loose, then staccato stop and starts in the drums and synthy vibe. The reverb in the hook contributes to the feel as if to say "is this real?". This is the full version that was released on the Imposter Syndrome EP released 1/1/2024 at 12am.
