The track is a mix of alternative soul and electronic RnB, influenced by artists like Hiatus Kaiyote and Jordan Rakei. It talks about growing like the weeds in your garden - recklessly, persistently, and against the rules. I wrote it while cycling to a (despised) med school class, angry at the world for not letting me grow in the direction I wanted to. I finally listened to my own advice though, dropped out of uni, and finished working on my debut EP "Growing an Absolute". This track is the first single to promote the entire project. The song also features a beautiful flute solo played by Ruta Sipola, an incredible London-based musician. Written and produced by me, and engineered, mixed, and added-on production by Ouni.
