Introducing the DEBUT single 'Run Baby Run' by Johnny Woog and CODA MACC. 'Run Baby Run' is a track deeply rooted in our profound mission to inspire individuals to confront their fears and take action towards their dreams. 'Run Baby Run' is about moving head first towards your fears, rather than attempting and ultimately failing to run from them. The fears that we face internally are often the things that we should put action towards. We hope that this track inspires others to realize that moving towards their fears is, in fact, the way. CODA MACC (Community of Developing Art, Music, and Conscious Collective) was created by two life long friends that have been playing and writing music together for most of their lives. Johnny and David are both classically trained musicians that started a band in high school. That band had success in their genre and was active for 7 years. From there David went on to receive a PhD in Music and is now a symphony conductor and Music Professor. Johnny took a different path into finance and the crypto industry but found that his life lacked fulfillment during the pandemic. It was during this pivotal moment that he resolved to learn music production and made a call to David explaining that he wanted to write music together again. David responded "Johnny, I've played music with a lot of different people over the years, but I've been waiting and hoping for this call." CODA MACC's long term mission is to build a community of creatives across multiple art forms that help make the world a better place through their respective art forms and give back to youth music and mental health programs. In the long term, we aim to partner with music and mental health programs to foster positive life experiences for youth in underprivileged areas. This track is our first release together in over a decade and stands as a testament to our rekindled creative partnership. We are so thrilled to bring it to the sound.xyz community first!
