This track is my submission to Optimism's "We <3 the Art" contest. Featuring breathy vocals, electrifying synths, hard-hitting 808's, and emotional melodies using Eastern instrumentation, this song embodies my ultimate vision for BRENDVN - exploring electronic music through sounds of my upbringing. As someone who grew up moving between the US and Asia often, I've always wanted to blend the unique sounds of each culture with my love for electronic music into an artist project. Burgeon signifies the spring blooming and flourishing of this project and the great music to come in 2024 and beyond.
