You know that feeling when you’re up in the middle of the night; when your mind is wandering and you arrive at a cold clarity about something that’s been bothering you? But the sun rises the next day and that clarity has entirely dissipated, lost to the light… dilip: greydient and I kept running into each other in multiple discords in late 2021 and a friendship was quickly born. I sent him a rough demo for a song idea. Since then, we’ve experienced Songcamp’s Camp Chaos together, performed at NFT NYC together, and now finally turned the demo into a song together. greydient: I remember getting this song idea from dilip while I was in Austin at CabinDAO’s node 0. I knew that there was something to this song, but not sure how I could fit my style into it. It wasn’t until I got back home to Toronto and pulled up the song during Xmas holidays that the magic began. I infused a little of the Toronto darkness into dilip’s original idea and the rest you’ll get to hear on the song. This drop is just the start of a musical history together.
