In "Colourful Souls," also titled "彩色灵魂" in Chinese, Davyd and I have created something unique. My Chinese and British background comes through in the lyrics, inspired by Tang dynasty poetry and paired with a simple English chorus in my Avant-Pop style. Davyd, whose roots are in Argentina, brings a fresh, cross-continental flavour to the beats and overall musical composition. Davyd adds, "It's a pleasure for me to bring Fifi's vision to life; her voice is beautiful to work with.” This is our first song together and the start of an ongoing collaboration that goes beyond geographic and temporal boundaries. The accompanying artwork, "彩色灵魂," showcases both ancient Eastern elegance and contemporary Western minimalism. It's a colourful palette that reflects our goal to explore various cultural and musical landscapes in future projects.
