"be with u" is an emotional indie dance/future house fusion and is my first release of 2024. It features a heartfelt refrain, "always wanna be with u," dancing around warm, organic synths and deep basses, crafting a love-infused number. Evolving four-on-the-floor drums add rhythmic flair, and playful vocal chops in the later sections enhance the emotional resonance. This song encapsulates the enduring essence of love, offering a melodic embrace for those moments of heartfelt connection on the dance floor. The catalyst for this track was the chord progression I landed on when playing around with a marimba style synth. From there everything flowed naturally - I knew this was going to be a romantic rave / emotional dance track centered around love, and being with together with someone who means the world to you. I wrote and sung simple repeating lyrics, designed some organic synths and tastefully chopped/processed my vocals to create an evolving, emotional, yet danceable journey.
