This is the introductory track to my project Summertimes Getting Away Now. The whole project revolves around this concept of leaving a good thing behind, and trusting that better will come. In the case of "ON & ON (& ON & ON)" I found myself asking the question "what if I saw ~them~ tonight?" Serendipitously of course. The song taps into that feeling of unrequited longing and continued adoration despite current separation. The song was made in my bedroom with Logic and an SM7. I'm hesitant to detail how I perceive the sonic-scape of the track, and would rather the listener let me know what the production sound reminds them of. Nevertheless, it is one of my favorite tracks I've made and hope you can connect with it :)
