Waffles and Mimosa's history is really cool to me. I came up with the idea for the song while at my grandmother's house on Christmas Eve in 2022. I was playing the chords on her piano and she made us waffles and mimosas for breakfast. This was the last time we spent time together in her house before she inevitably passed a couple of short months after. A modified version of this song made it into the rhythm game DEEMO II. This is my favorite song off the PIXEL SKIES album. I hope you enjoy it as much as I had fun making it :)
