Sexy & trippy.. I started writing this in March '22. I was practicing scales on the guitar in Am and came across the plucky melody which is now known to hold down Can We Fly. I couldn't stop playing it. In 2022 I was working with a studio that brought the trippy side of this track out. There's actually a whole different demo to this song that I was so close to publishing.. however I never felt comfortable releasing it because it wasn't an authentic reflection of how I wanted to represent the track. Come early 2023 I brought both that demo and my rough demo to 'The Fund'. & together we meshed the two to produce the 'perfect' in between. This song is also part of a 3 piece EP. At the time, I was learning and experiencing about different ways toxicity can form in relationship and was just starting to write music. So birthed, Can We Fly. Thanks for reading.
