This track is a special one. I initially wrote and recorded to this beat produced by Stoic a couple of months ago before passing it over to my good friend Nat Gem, who I met during my time at the University of Arizona. Nat took some time to brainstorm what his feature would look like. I envisioned some background vocals through the chorus/hook and knew he could whip up something dope. Alongside the background vocals, Nat laid down an epic verse starting at 2:45 of the track. Nat came down to Tucson from Phoenix, which is about two hours apart. We planned a studio session at OCF Studios here in town and had a lively session with producer & engineer wizard Cecilia. I'm really happy with how this track came out; it's like a fusion of Alternative/Hip-Hop and is laid back yet captivating. This track and its lyrics evoke a blend of introspection, uncertainty, and a willingness to navigate through the complexities of life and relationships. Being able to work with such a talented musician and artist like Nat Gem is something I will always be grateful for. Thank you to everyone who supports us on our musical journey.
