 Written & produced by ALYSS I remember literally RUNNING home to make music after hearing a pregnant woman sample her unborn baby's heartbeat on stage in the middle of her set. It was so epic and random i wish i remembered her name… At that time I’d been thinking about the idea that we're just as ‘physical’ in our dream state as we our in waking life - but we’re just more ‘tuned in’ to this waking reality. I mean…96% of matter is invisible. And even the remaining 4% of physical matter is made up of 99% space. So none of us really actually exist in a true solid form in either reality…yet here we are...doing our human bizz When I first released this back in 2016 I remember convincing myself people would 100% think it was too weird. I'd never made anything like it before & assumed it would just be one of those ones that made sense to me but no one else. To my shock it ended up being named 'Hottest Record' by Annie Mac on BBC Radio 1, led me to support Sampha at the London Jazz Cafe, had full rotation on Triple J in Australia + was being played in clubs all over the world.
