“Babylon” is a song about decay in all its forms. It talks about human destruction of the planet. About closing our eyes and wishing ourselves “back where we belong, where gardens hang like Babylon”. And, finally, it asks: “who will tell our story when we’re gone, Babylon?”.   “Babylon” is written by Alexander Grandjean and his friend from Nashville, Evan Gibb (of the indie-folk band ‘Sød Ven’).
